It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Ray Frey, a popular, long-time councillor for the RM of St. Clements. Ray was elected four consecutive times as councillor for the RM of St. Clements beginning in 2002 for a total of 16 straight years of service to his community.
Ray was the first fire chief of the Narol Fire Department. He was a staunch supporter of heritage and tourism activities, and appreciated for his positive approach, his vision, and his sense of humour.
A celebration of Ray’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the Sunova Centre, 48 Holland Rd., West St. Paul. There will be an Open Mic after guest speakers. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations in memory of Ray may be made to Cancer Care Foundation or a charity of choice. Condolences may be sent to E.J. Coutu & Co.
