Many thanks to the 466 people who completed our Let’s Talk Trash survey. Click “Read more” to download survey comments and preliminary results.
Key findings:
– 67% of you thought we needed to reduce the amount of recycling that ends up in our landfill, even if there was a (reasonable) cost
– Curbside pickup had strong support in the southern part of the RM and less in the north
– Transfer stations are most important to residents north of Hwy #4
– There is support to fund curbside pickup with fees to homes that receive the service
