For the fourth year in a row, the RM of St. Clements is partnering with Abundant Life Lutheran Church to provide Christmas hampers to residents in need. Abundant Life Lutheran Church is also providing hampers for residents of East St. Paul and Springfield. Last year they delivered almost 70 hampers
The RM of St. Clements had been partners with Selkirk and the RM of St. Andrews since 2007 as the North Red River Hamper Project, but the partnership was not sustainable and ended in 2014.
What do I do if I need a Christmas Hamper?
If you are in need of a Christmas hamper, please call the Abundant Life Lutheran Church Christmas hamper line at 204-390-1396 between November 12 and December 13, 2017 to register.

When is the deadline to donate?
The deadline for donations is Tuesday, December 12, 2017.
When are the hampers being delivered?
The hampers are being delivered between Saturday, December 16 and Wednesday, December 20, 2017.
Can I provide an entire hamper?
Yes. Here’s how:
- Decide on the size of the family you wish to provide for.
Phone Abundant Life Lutheran Church Hamper line at 204-390-1396 after Monday, December 4, 2017 to receive the name of a family in need. Confidentiality is essential! - Refer to the suggested hamper lists (below).
- Either drop your hamper off at the church by Wednesday, December 13, 2017 or make arrangements with the family to confirm a delivery date and time.
- If you deliver the hamper, be sure to get a signature on the delivery sheet sent out with the hamper.
- Return the delivery sheet to the church
